HAPPY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!
This flag is on the side of our 100 year old+ barn. It makes me smile every time I drive up. |
I entered a pillowcase contest for charity and I just found out I made the top 12! I am so excited. Not bad for my first ever contest. I would love it if you would vote for me and check out the wonderful host Ladybird Ln. Click here to vote. I am number 10 which is the barnyard pillow with finger puppets. Thanks for your support!!
Ok. This is truly my last post in regards to the 4th of July. Then I must move on with life. Ha! I am just loving the vibrant red, white, and blue colors and craft projects. Here are a few additional ideas.
My mom bought this cute holder and we decorated it with some ribbon, stars, and flags. We filled it with themed napkins and plates as well as a colorful assortment of utensils. She is bringing it as a hostess gift to a 4th of July party.
I jazzed up this soap dispenser I bought at a garage sale this weekend for 50 cents with some fun little star stickers.
These are simple 4th of July kabobs with strawberries, blueberries, and mini marshmallows. I just glued little flags on the top of the skewers.
Let little ones enjoy lighting up the sky for the 4th of July with this fun sparkler alternative. My sons are too young to safely use sparklers so I created these little star sticks (I can't call them wands because they are boys). I bought 8 glow in the dark sticks for $1 and added holographic stars on top. Simple and fast...just the way I like doing crafts!
I hope you all have a fun and safe 4th of July weekend. See you soon!
Super cute ideas. Enjoy your 4th of July.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the contest.

So YOU made the barn/ finger puppet pillow! It was my favorite. Count this as my vote because I was on vacation (Vegas!) during the real voting.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to have discovered your blog. Keep coming up with your great ideas!
