Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries

We are already at our 15th day of 100 degree weather in Texas. I know some people refuse to turn on their oven when it is that hot outside but I could not resist this little temptation. One of my families favorite side dishes for burgers is fries. I enjoy making a twist on traditional french fries by making oven baked sweet potato fries. Tasty and healthy!

Ingredients:
2+ Sweet Potatoes
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Peel and cut sweet potatoes to desired thickness. Drizzle and toss lightly with olive oil. Add a little salt and pepper. Spread out on baking sheet. Bake at 425 for approximately 15 minutes on each side. Keep an eye on them! Bake until they are tender and golden brown. The time varies greatly depending on their thickness. Pictured below are the sweet potatoes I prepped.

Besides the amazing aroma these oven baked sweet potato fries send throughout my house...my favorite two things about them is prep time is only five minutes and the cost for this side dish usually runs me under $2!
